I earned my Bachelors Degree of Science at the University of Utah in Human Development and Family Consumer Studies with an emphasis in child psychology. I was accepted into CACREP-accredited Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University, and am currently in my last year.

Prior to entering my Master’s Degree Program, I was a first-responder and worked directly in the medical field for six years. I also have three years of experience working directly in the mental health field with individuals in behavioral health emergencies. These experiences led me to want to further my education and become a mental health counselor.

I am driven to help others in the many realms of wellbeing. My therapeutic approach is very individualized based on your needs. I often use mindfulness-based techniques in combination with a person-centered approach to aid you in creating goals and finding balance in your life. I provide have a safe and welcoming space to allow for support and growth.

Mental and physical health are very important aspects of my life. In my free time I can be found outside with my chocolate lab either camping, hiking, or rock climbing. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my cat and dog at home.
