The journey toward mental health and wellness is both personal and transformative, and I am honored to be part of that process as I begin my internship and practicum in the counseling field. I am currently a student in the counseling field, beginning my journey and I could not be more excited about this chapter. My path to becoming a mental health professional has been shaped by meaningful experiences working directly with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with unique challenges.

Before stepping into this role as a counselor-in-training, I worked as a TMS technician, supporting clients experiencing Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). This experience gave me a front-row seat to the importance of innovative and evidence-based treatment approaches in restoring hope and improving daily living. I have also had the privilege of working with at-risk populations, specifically supporting teen mothers as they navigated complex challenges in their lives. Additionally, my role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) allowed me to work closely with children with special needs, teaching me patience, creativity, and the power of individualized care.
Each step of this journey affirms my commitment to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they work toward healing and growth. My mission is to create a safe and supportive space where challenges can be faced with compassion and resilience. Life is unpredictable, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming. If that resonates with you, I am here—as a student counselor learning and growing every day—to support you in moving toward a healthier, more hopeful tomorrow.

Self-care and balance are very important to me. I enjoy thrifting as a fun hobby that helps me relax and recharge, and I’ve recently returned to CrossFit, which has been a fulfilling way to stay active after retiring from athletics. I’m originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and moved here with my twin sister when we both came to play college soccer. I also have a sister who lives in Denmark. Family means a great deal to me—I’ve been happily married for a year and a half, and my twin sister and I rescued my dog, Baked Bean, a lab-pit mix who has quickly become the center of my world.
